GRID in Russia– Interdisciplinary Project

Telecommunication Center "Science & Society" ("UMOS") has created telecommunication ifrastructure that ties with 1 Gbit/s Ethernet channel grate number of scientific institutes.

Investigations by Interdisciplinary Teams:

Grid dispatching and resource control;

Metacomputing – Grid-based decisions for large-scale computing tasks in Physics, Chemistry, Bio-Medical sciences;

Grid-related aspects of Knowledge Networks (intellectual distributed databases) in Biology and Health Care.
